Herman to Lead Featured Ethics Presentation at Upcoming Louisiana Association for Justice “Last Chance” CLE Seminar

On December 12, 2024, Fishman Haygood special counsel Steve Herman will present “Marketing, Mentoring, and Managing Information: What the ABA Has to Say About ListServs, Google Reviews, and Related Topics” at the Louisiana Association for Justice’s (LAJ) 2024 Last Chance CLE Seminar. Herman frequently speaks about and writes on the topic of legal ethics. Most recently, he presented “Emerging Issues in Legal Ethics” at an Ethics and Professionalism CLE Seminar hosted by the Louisiana State Bar Association.
In his “Examining Ethical Rules” thought leadership series, Herman also explores various American Bar Association Professional Rules and other legal requirements that could potentially be implicated with the use—or non-use—of ChatGPT or other generative AI. Herman is a past president of the LAJ, the state chapter of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Among his many appointments, he has served on the AAJ Board of Governors since 2014 and currently serves as Chair of the AAJ’s AI Task Force.
